Registration takes place on the official PGA Jr. League website. If this is your first season, you’ll create a free MyPGA account before completing your child’s registration.

Blake Sharamitaro, PGA

Head Coach

Coaching golfers since 2008, Blake specializes in helping motivated players — from competitive juniors to professionals — build more consistent swings and lower their scores. His individualized, structured approach covers every part of the game, from full swing to the mental side of competition, giving players a clear plan to perform under pressure and play their best golf.

Adam Betz, PGA

Assistant Coach

Adam helps golfers at every stage of their journey reach their full potential. As a key figure at the Family Golf and Learning Center, Adam has built a reputation for delivering personalized, results-driven instruction that meets each student where they are — whether they’re picking up a club for the first time or refining their game at an advanced level. Adam believes that meaningful improvement comes from understanding the whole golfer — their goals, their strengths, and the fundamentals that form the foundation of lasting progress.

Liam Durbin

Assistant Coach

Liam has been a golf instructor since 2022, specializing in youth and group instruction and the PGA Jr League. In his three years as a PGA Jr. League coach, Liam has instructed 9u, 13u, 17u, and All-Star teams. His approach for Jr League is creating a foundation in all areas of the game, with an emphasis on elevating juniors’ critical thinking skills on the golf course.

Not at all! PGA Junior League is designed to welcome players of all skill levels, from complete beginners to more experienced golfers. Our coaches meet every kid where they’re at and focus on building skills, confidence, and a love for the game.

Our Fall PGA Jr. League is open to kids ages 6–14, so whether your child is just starting out or has a few seasons under their belt, there’s a spot for them on a team.

Comfortable athletic clothing, closed-toe shoes (golf shoes not required to start), Golf bag stocked with clubs, golf balls, tees, and a ball marker. Don’t forget a water bottle and sunscreen. If they have their own golf glove, they’re welcome to bring it too!

Yes, players need their own clubs for the season. If your child doesn’t have a set yet, no worries — just come to the first practice and our golf shop team will help find clubs to purchase that fit them perfectly.  

Light rain won’t stop practice — we do have indoor space to use if it starts to rain harder. In the case of severe weather (lightning, storms), we’ll notify families directly about rescheduling.

Practices are held right here at Family Golf and Learning Center. Since our driving range will be closed this fall for a full renovation, weekly practices will be held using the short game area, wedge practice range, putting greens, and the golf course.
